A 40mm wide soft and strong waistband elastic. This is being sold by either the metre (multiple lengths will be sent as one continuous length) or by the full 10m reel.

The tape is 40mm wide overall and is made up of 80% polyester and 20% spandex.

This waistband would be perfect for so many clothing and dressmaking projects. Whether you are sewing you own activewear, a skirt or just something to lounge around in, this elastic is perfect.

Bought in various colours.

I have an issue with swimsuits in that the straps fall off while I'm in the water but by using a wide elastic and stitching it into the costume , I can prevent this from happening. It really helps when you can find suitably coloured elastic.
