Soft Shell is a weatherproof, water repellant fabric often used for outdoor clothing. It is not 100% waterproof but will give good protection against wind and rain. It has a polar fleece backing which will keep you cosy and warm, yet still offers breathability. This fabric is an ideal outerwear clothes making material for hoodies, jackets and coats. But it still also works really well for projects such as rucksacks or bag making. As with all our dressmaking fabrics, this fabric is Oeko-tex standard 100

This was lovely quality soft shell fabric with a bright fun print and navy fleece backing. The colour in the photos of the fabric on the website are accurate - but not the one of the model. I used a separating zip and rib with gold stripes from this website to make up a bomber jacket. It will certainly cheer up any rainy day!
